Hi BlackSea4ever
I am not sure; I don't think there's much of a difference, since the tense is already established by the context. "Had arisen" though seems a bit too far into the past tense.
Originally intransitive verbs were not used with "has/had" but with "is/was" and a few are sometimes still used thus in English (e.g "he is come" is still sometimes used instead of "he has come", likewise for "is arisen"/"has arisen"), and is more appropriate if you are aiming for a slightly "archaic" tone.
>I am going
Скорее "I am leading"
Let the sun will light up our way
Интересно, бел-горюч - Алатырь-камень?

Я только что узнал об этом в Гугле.
Мне тоже интересно
Первый раз слышу
Беду уведу явно не "I am going" -- she is like trying to take a bane away
Тут какие-то явно проказы ведьм. Я не знаю, как это будет по-английски
Happy Halloween, I guess
Ditch "да" и получится "я беду уведу"
Pinchus and igeethecat,
Хорошие замечания и поправки. Спасибо.
Как сказать "misread" по-русски? Я misread "беду" как "веду"!
Мне тоже так привиделось
I even changed my comment
Было там "веду/уведу"
Ну а misread-- недопонял? But not in this case
