Hello all...I'm currently working on a Vietnamese translation of the song "My Fair Lady" (https://lyricstranslate.com/en/nat-king-cole-my-fair-lady-lyrics.html)

One question I have is--how to refer to the "fair lady"?

I've seen the following possibilities:
* (Người) đàn bà xinh đẹp của tôi
* Cô xinh đẹp của tôi
* Quý cô xinh đẹp của tôi

Thanks for your advice!

The lyrics are short, simple and friendly.
« Người đẹp của tôi » may be the most appropriate to the context.

* (Người) đàn bà xinh đẹp của tôi : too long, « đàn bà »," the woman", not respecful.
* Cô xinh đẹp của tôi : « cô » is too distant
* Quý cô xinh đẹp của tôi : « quý cô » is too ceremonial, You cannot say "quý cô của tôi"
Regards,
An

I had another question...

The first line of the second verse is "But she passed me by....": "she" could be translated either "cô ay " or "nàng" I think....just want to make sure I'm using the right word.

Thanks for your help.

I would suggest "nàng"
