(Nē) (English translation)

Hey

Hey, what's wrong? Haven't you made up your mind?
It's like you're going to say good bye
You look scared
At restaurant in the tower where we can see illuminated harbor
We toast wine at eight o'clock
You're the one who suggested that we exchange rings
You're the one who said it
Hey, smile for me
I know you will look nice

Hey, what's wrong? This isn't like you
You usually looks like a little kid with a big smile on your face
But now you don't even talk
Like in a cruise with the sea breeze on your cheek.
I dress up in a silk dress for tonight
We're going to exchange vow tommorrow
You're the one who said it
Hey, smile for me
I know you will look nice

Thanks!

My interpretation of the song:

A couple had dinner at the night before their wedding tomorrow. I imagine a restaurant at Tokyo Tower in 1970's. The guy was nervous, it got awkward.

This song was probably inspired by Megumi's real life experience. This is her last song before she retired from singing at 1977 and got married. 5 years later she divorced and made a comeback in 1983.
