Submitter's comments:

Tenet is a palindrome that can be played backwards and forwards individually.

Song is likely to be sung in Latin, Old Norse, Proto-Germanic and Gothic.
Let's wait for the official lyrics.

Note that the song itself is a palindrome in the sense that you can listen to it reversed.

Thank you! The official lyrics are out (as you probably know), so I've updated them accordingly

Note: Maybe someone can check if the words are correct. The translation is just a rough guess.

iorð biðak varðæ, Læknæs hand, Ok Líf Tungæ, is from the Ribe healing stick (Rundata signum DR EM85;493, DK SJy41), words referenced from "Runic Amulets and Magic Objects" by MacLeod. The translation for these lines are from MacLeod.

iorð biðak varðæ ("I pray earth to guard" according to MacLeod)
Ek er ástir ok Ek er sannindi (I am love and I am truth?)
Ek er friðr ok Ek er sjálfráðr (I am at peace and I am free)

I guess the following parts are sounds of the runes in Younger Futhark, if you correspond to it, it is the Younger Futhark rune sounds that make out SATOR, ARABO, TANAT, OBARA, ROTAS, I am not sure why 'Sun' sounds like 'sonne' and 'non' for 'nauðr' except perhaps to rhyme the sounds. The runes Othala, Ehwaz and Peorð do not appear in Younger Futhark.

Sun ar tirs or reid
Ar reid ar birk or
Tir ar non ar tir
Or birk ar reid ar
Reid or tir ar sun

ᚱ Reið -> reid
ᛏ Tir / tirs -> Týr (not sure why one is tirs)
ᛒ Bjarkan -> Birk
ᛅ Jera -> Ár?

Áins, Twái, Þrija, Fidwōr, fimf is one, two, three, four, five in Gothic: 𐌰𐌹𐌽𐍃, 𐍄𐍅𐌰𐌹, 𐌸𐍂𐌹𐌾𐌰, 𐍆𐌹𐌳𐍅𐍉𐍂, 𐍆𐌹𐌼𐍆.

Stórráðr? (wise?)
jafnan (always)
Læknæs hand ("leech-hands" according to MacLeod, maybe "a healing hand"?)
Ok Líf ("and a healing-)
Tungæ kuth? (-tongue", kuth = well known?)
Mana for rauð?
Fas Sol Invictus (Divine law of the Unconquered Sun)

Sol Invictus seems to be the Roman sun deity. AGLA (אגלא) is an acronym for Ata Gibor Le’olam Adonai, found inscribed on Bergen rune stick (N 636) and others, along with guþt (god) and Sator Arepo.

Thanks a lot for the help and information 😁 Should I maybe update the lyrics to how it's supposed to be written?

methaneRain127methaneRain127    Wed, 10/08/2022 - 15:01

The lyrics on Bandcamp are easier to follow for pronunciation. The original words are my guess so some could be wrong but it might help others to locate and translate the actual words.

Got it 👍 If there's anything that's wrong, let me know

I would tend to say that the lyrics should be written in their 'original' forms if possible, just the way it was done for the song Asja.
I ping [@Izi Pizi] to see if he can help us spot the potential mistakes.

Will do! [@grey27] left a good one, I'll use that

This word seems mispelled: Læknæshan → Læknæs hand

I wonder if Tungæ kuth should be written Tungæ kuþ.

Tungæ kuth?

Ambitious

Healing hand

Famous tongue
House for the reddened

The only word I couldn't find on wiktionary is "stórráðr", but this site (https://lexiconpoeticum.org/m.php?p=lemma&i=80012) says it means "ambitious".

Famous tongue, house for the reddened = means, as I view it, that a famous poet (or anyone that can share information to many people) is "house" for the ones who died bloody, e.g. warriors.

methaneRain127methaneRain127    Fri, 12/08/2022 - 16:41

If it is the same word as in "Sigmundr gerist nú ríkr konungr ok ágætr, vitr ok stórráðr." from the Völsunga saga, it would mean 'wise' or 'high minded' according to the translation at voluspa.org.

"ok lif-tungæ" is in one line and translated by MacLeod to "and healing tongue" but Heilung seems to separate it by capitalizing Tungæ so maybe the meaning is different. Tungæ kuþ (Famous tongue like you said) could indeed mean someone with the influence to spread the word because of their status or being of wide reputation.

The following I found from wiktionary so:

Mana: I wonder if it means man or from the Proto-Germanic reconstruction "manōną" which seems to be "to remind, to admonish; warn".

for: furrow, or in Proto-Germanic "furhs".

rauð is the first/third-person singular indicative past of rjóða, which means "to redden" and comes from Proto-Germanic "reudaną".

"Mana for rauð" (if the words are correct) I guess is "to remind or warn that to (further) furrow or dig (would) redden (the soil)" which I suppose makes sense even though the sentence isn't so complete, since the lyrics reference peace in different languages and with PAX laid out separately that way. A famous tongue to remind of the consequences of war and persisting in it which would likely end in bloodshed.
