Blood and Sand

Enslaved in Thracia, bound in iron chains
I was sold to Capua, resistance was in vain
They tried to break me but I was too strong
A Warrior, a Fighter, a Gladiator

They forged him in the fire
Baptized him with blood
They forged him in the fire
Baptized him with blood

Nothing to lose nowhere to hide
My destiny is shining bright
I was reborn from blood and sand
No gods no men command my hand
I am Spartacus

I became chosen one to lead the slave revolt
The Masters reap what they have sown, we gonna kill them all
Loot the mansions, burn them down. Their legions follow our trail
We are ready. Our final stand. We die, as free men

They forged him in the fire
Baptized him with blood
They forged him in the fire
Baptized him with blood

They forged him in the fire
Baptized him with blood
They forged him in the fire
Baptized him with blood

Milites Ad Arma
In Aciem Venite
Ad Fulco
Milites, Gladios Stringite - Huah
Signa Inferte

Nothing to lose nowhere to hide
My destiny is shining bright
I was reborn from blood and sand
No gods no men command my hand

Nothing to lose nowhere to hide
My destiny is shining bright
I was reborn from blood and sand
No gods no men command my hand

I am Spartacus
I am Spartacus

  • Thracia:

Thracia or Thrace (Θρᾴκη) is the ancient name given to the southeastern Balkan region, the land inhabited by the Thracians. From the perspective of classical Greece, Thracia included the territory north of Thessaly, with no definite boundaries, sometimes to the inclusion of Macedonia and Scythia minor. With the annexation of the Thracian kingdom by the Roman Empire, by order of emperor Claudius, in AD 46, Thracia (formally provincia Thracia "Thracian province", ἐπαρχία Θρᾳκῶν "eparchy of the Thracians") was established as a Roman province.

  • Capua:

Capua is a city and comune in the province of Caserta, in the region of Campania, southern Italy, situated 25 km (16 mi) north of Naples, on the northeastern edge of the Campanian plain.

  • Spartacus:

Spartacus (Greek: Σπάρτακος; c. 111–71 BC) was a Thracian gladiator who, along with Crixus, Gannicus, Castus, and Oenomaus, was one of the escaped slave leaders in the Third Servile War, a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic. Little is known about him beyond the events of the war, and surviving historical accounts are sometimes contradictory. All sources agree that he was a former gladiator and an accomplished military leader.
