Decadence (English translation)

English translationEnglish
A A

Decadence

I reach out my hand but your still out of reach
Aah, were you that tired?
The dead branches and dried up leafs

Are you still living?
Loneliness and my broken heart
Even if I live i'm still so empty and depressed

Reach out your hand
My thoughts are still caressing you
"Can you hear me?" Please say it

A fall from decadence
It will all be over soon
I'm still tracing you
Withered souls
I don't want to forget anything

Reach out your hand
My thoughts are still caressing you
"Can you hear me?" Please say it

Are you destroying yourself for someone else?
Just say goodbye just this once

Reach out your hand
My thoughts are still caressing you
"Can you hear me?" Please say it
Reach out your hand
Even this love is washed away by a black rain
"Can you hear me?" Please say it

Beautiful lies and a regretful truth
I'm so numb

Thanks!

>嗚呼 そんなに疲れたの?
You translated 嗚呼 as "Oh God," but for the reader, this implies that the writer is talking to God, so for clarity, I think you should opt for a more direct translation and just write
"Aah, were you that tired?"
"Still tired" would be まだつかれているの?

>思いはまだあなたをなぞるほどに
Directly translating this line to English makes it sound awkward. なぞる means "trace" but that word has other connotations. When used romantically/in poetry it means something like "caress."
As an example,
>頬を指でなぞる
you get the idea.
Interpret this line however you want. But "tracing" doesn't sound as good in English.

> この愛さえ流す真っ黒な雨
I'm pretty sure this says "Even this love is being washed away by the black rain."
