Eagles of hopes
The sharp - clad eagles
of my hopes
That through thousands
of generations
The only food available to them was the little swallows
of my heart desires
In the hope of death, only one of my sorrows
- Now each of them has become a dinosaur-
has turned into vultures,
and it is a pity that in this hope they will soon die.

عقاب های امید
عقابان تیزچنگ
امیدهایم
که به درازنای
هزاران
نسل
تنها خوراکِ در دسترس شان
پرستوهای کوچکِ آرزوهای
قلبی من بود
به امید مرگِ تنها - وحتّی-
یکی از غم هايم
-که اکنون هرکدامشان به بزرگی دایناسوری شده‌اند -
به کرکسانی
دگرگون شده اند
و افسوس
که در این امیدواری
بزودی خواهند مرد
