"And would much rather bomb them" is correct.
"Refugee tent" or "tent for refugees."
"Doesn't give a shit" means "ist ihm scheißegal," so "gives a shit on democracy" sounds non-idiomatic and confusing. "Shits on democracy" or "doesn't give a shit about democracy."

Well, this was a fun read. I kept hearing Kim Wilde's voice as I parsed the text.
The Turkish PM's name is spelled "Erdogan" in English-language media (the accent on the g is commonly dropped, but I think that's just a result of Anglocentric unfamiliarity with accent marks on consonants.) There's no need to change the a to u for your English translation.
For confirmation, Google responds to "Erdogun" with "Did you mean Erdogan?"
Tippfehler: suite --> suit (4. Strophe)
Although I don't believe "suit his face" is an expression. "Suit him" (ihm passend sein) sounds more natural in English, at the cost of the rhyme.

"Erdo-gun" is just my creation, belongs to "artistic freedom" as we call it in German... ;)
I thought it fits so well and enhances the fun... ;)
