Nezaboravan San O... - Night Without Dawn
https://lyricstranslate.com/zh-hant/nezaboravan-san-o-night-without-dawn...
This is the current version of the second paragraph (1:36) I posted and modified from requester @saturnine 's comment:
Night cries of your face
They will not be your face
Night cries of your face
May every real hope be your face
meanwhile @saturnine replied that it is more something like:
"Night cries out your name
May word be your pain
Night cries out your name
May every word be your pain"
and mentioned that "the song is actually the English version of their song "Noći Bez Jutra", and it would make more sense as some parts really match the translation here: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/noci-bez-jutra-nights-without-mornings.html"
So we have different opinions here. I'm willing to hear any thought and correction on it.
Saturnine's seems to be correct, although the singer has a weird way of pronouncing the word "word".
One possible option for the second line is: "May over be your pain"
An alternative for the last word ("pain") is "fate".
Thanks!
The band is from Croatia, so the singer does have an accent. The thing is that this song is the English version of their Croatian song "Noći Bez Jutra", which has been translated here: https://lyricstranslate.com/en/noci-bez-jutra-nights-without-mornings.html
A part of that translation is:
The night is calling you, may every word hurt you,
The night is calling you, may your every word hurt you
So that's why I suggested that for the transcription:
Night cries out your name
May word be your pain
Night cries out your name
May every word be your pain
The meaning would be quite similar.
Exactly haha. I really couldn't think of anything like "word" when he pronounced it.
I agree with the suggestion that it being an English version of the Croatian one, I'll update it. Thanks for help.
