It sounds like the silly word in English for water but I don't know if that is the same in this French-Canadian lyric. What is 'ouaoua'?

Nous traverserons Québec à pied sec
Nous irons à Ottawa en ouaoua
Nous irons à Valleyfield sur un fil

Thanks!

In case anyone is wondering, it is a "guagua", a bus in Latin America.

Not just in Latin America, but also in the Canary islands and in parts of mainland Spain.
