Hey

I couldn't find it anywhere on the site,
Is there a way to make the text bold, or change the font, or any other interesting things? (says I can't? why?)

There's this song with English and Japanese and it would be great if I cold change the English font, or make it bold.

In comments, you can just click the 'Switch to rich text editor' and you'll have a lot of tools for you to use. It's just below the text box.

For translations/lyrics, you can use HTML tags, all of which you can find here : https://lyricstranslate.com/en/filter/tips

[@lt] Unfortunately if one doesn’t have the above link handy, the only way to access that page is by going to “Getting Started” => “Website Rules” and scroll down to look for the link for “these HTML-tags”: it would be nice to have a more handy link, perhaps in the “Getting Started” drop down menu.

Sorry I didn't notice the
"Allowed HTML tags: a> em> strong> cite> quote> blockquote> code> ul> ol> li> dl> dt> dd> p> table> tr> td> fn> footnote> ootnote] div> pre>"

part, thanks anyways

I wonder if a way to cross out a text could be added to the list of allowed tags (s / del / strike)?
I don't see a way of doing that right now, even in the rich text editor.

It could come in handy for explaining a bit of syntax during proofreading or making an edited post easier to follow, as it is routinely used on many forums.

What do you think?

I'm not one who tends to use that much tags, but if it's needed, why not?

I'd also suggest making it available for users to select if they want the traditional or the rich text editor in comments by default. We currently have to click the button everytime we don't want to use the tags (and I think that for Mods and Editors that would be at least quite helpful when notifying users about changes).
