The Four Ages of Man
He with body waged a fight,
But body won; it walks upright.
Then he struggled with the heart;
Innocence and peace depart.
Then he struggled with the mind;
His proud heart he left behind.
Now his wars on God begin;
At stroke of midnight God shall win.
- midnight God:
A night deity is a goddess or god in mythology associated with night, the night sky, or darkness. It can also mean the god addressed in the midnight prayers of people.

Turkish translationTurkish

İnsanın Dört Çağı
Bedeniyle savaştı,
Ama bedeni kazandı; dik yürüyor.
Sonra kalbiyle mücadele etti;
Masumiyet ve barış ayrılıyor.
Sonra akılla mücadele etti;
Geride bıraktığı gururlu kalbi.
Şimdi Tanrı'ya karşı başlıyor savaşları;
Saat gece yarısını vurduğunda Tanrı kazanacak.
