Follow The Wind

The wind was coming down the mountain
Waving my sleeves and went away
Playful sparrows may gossip about me
A woman starting a journey on her own
My name means nothing, nothing at all
All I have is free spirits, free spirits
A drink as chaperon

I noticed some signposts along the way
It’s whimsical of me to follow the wind
Where the woman goes alone
Ahead love and a storm lie
Naught but a common tale
I shall follow, I shall follow
The road that I never knew

Somebody was calling out to me from afar
I aimlessly wandered about led by the clouds
The town the woman visits alone
Tonight’s tavern in the blue moonlight
For my hometown no longer awaits me
I shall be somewhere beneath the sky
When tomorrow comes

Thanks!

* 風まかせ literally means "leaving it to the wind", figuratively it works like an adjective meaning whimsical or capricious.
