2. literally 'we've got steam in the boiler', see the next footnote
3. a wordplay that doesn't work in English: Zug can also mean 'train' in German, and literally this line means 'We are sitting very comfortable in the (crusade-train)'
4. lit.: 'unbraked', it still refers to the 'train' from the previous line

Unfortunately, the word plays in the chorus were lost in the translation, though I tried my best to explain them in footnotes.
