I don't have great respect for these lyrics.
1. | Estonian songs I like |
1. | Kui tuuled pöörduvad |
2. | Soovide puu |
3. | Hüvasti Kollane Koer |
In truth, I don't follow her, two songs have been sufficient for me till now, her songwriter really isn't my taste. "Rändajad" was quite special, I'd like to see how they'd top that.
All in all, my taste is quite different, mostly quite rock-like male artists. I'm not so sure you'd be interested in them (id est: the ones that I usually translate; for example Marten Kuningas, he is so intelligent, his lyrics come off as quite intellectual).
I will see if i like Marten Kuningas then ;))
Good luck with that! How has it come this far?
[Right now I have made only 93 Est -> Eng translations, I don't think that it would be too much to look them through. Most of them have repeating names (and I like most of them). It would be nice to keep in mind that Laika Virgin tends to change their vocalist (on a certain album) very often; that Vaiko Eplik is the local etalon of good taste, Ruja is poprock classics... The one and only Estonian female artist that I have translated here and really like is Mari Pokinen.]
Hmm...i didn't like Kuningas so much, but i will see those ones you mentioned too,i really like to listen to the songs of the european east. From Estonia i like Smilers,i know also "Maskeraad" from Gerli Padar and Caater..and now Sandra Nurmsalu.

You can also notify me (I would check my translation for any overlooked errors and/or I could answer your questions if you have any) but you don't have to.
