Evening voyage

Versions: #1#2
The boat sets sail towards the straits of the islands
It's still spring on the sea and land
The breeze sings alone in the dusk
The wave fizzes gently on the sand
The adventures belong to me and to you
The blood boils and the longing awakens
The birds build their nest on high sills
Bright nights, then everyone stays awake

What's better than being young and swift?
Having hopes and childish vitality?
Having the chance of singing, living, playing
With light step wherever you are?
And on the foreshore in the dusk
Having a secret and a tryst?
