The Fairy

I also have a fairy in my house
Over the drenched gutters
I found her over a roof
With her burning tail
It was in a morning, it was possible to smell the coffee
Everything was covered in frost
She was shrouded by a book
And the moon finished drunk

I also have a fairy in my house
And her tail is burnt
She must know that she cannot
She will never manage to fly again
Others have attempted prior to her
Before you another one was here
I found her folded in her wings
And I believe that she felt cold

I also have a fairy in my house
From the shelves she gaze in the air
The television, thinking
That outside it is war
She read diverse magazines
And she stays home
In the window, counting the hours

I also have a fairy in my house
And once she takes her lunch
She makes a clatter with her grilled wings
I’m aware that she is unruly
But I prefer to embrace her
Or hold her in my fingers
I also have a fairy in my house
Who would like to fly, but cannot
