Laiks (English translation)

Time

Versions: #1#2
Time is like an incomplete story which is eternally misunderstood
Wrongly explained
Time is like a crime so sincere, inevitable
Unkept promise, if wasted it is more, that is more than you know, more than I know (1)
It is more than we can carry it, more than we want to be able (to carry it).

Time is like an impression it remains in the deeds and the words
Even if they are washed away time does not fade away, because it is more, much more than you know, more than I know
It is more than we want to carry it, more than we are able to carry it

When everything will be said and when we will have talked too much, until it will be understood
Time can go on without us, but what are we without time?
It is more, more than you know, more than I know(2)
It is more than we want to carry it more than we are able to carry it
It is more, much more than you know, more than I know(2)
It is more than we want to carry it more than we are able to carry it

(1) Strange wording so it doesn't really make much sense to me neither in Latvian nor in English, so if anybody has an alternative solution feel free to suggest it
