    Referencing the historical and now-hidden Jergins Tunnel which was built in 1927 with the purpose of providing safe passage to the beach for pedestrians. The remnants of it sit on Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach, California.
  • sealed up by two man-made walls:

    Lana shared an old photo of two ornate pillars or the “handmade beauty” inside the Jergins Tunnel in its prime.

    Now the tunnel is permanently closed, this is no longer visible, and is hence “sealed up by two man-made walls.”
  • "Hotel California":

    Del Rey referenced the Eagles twice before on her song “God Knows I Tried”, a song on one of her most acclaimed albums Honeymoon.

    Fans speculated that her upcoming album should hopefully resemble Honeymoon, as it is praised for its melancholic guitar melodies, sounds that weren’t as notable in her last albums, where the piano often got the overtone. Along with that, it is speculated that most of her song “Shades of Cool” contains the same chord progression as Hotel California.
