Turn up the volume

Certainly you rejoiced when you realized
That I suffered the day you left
Certainly you rejoiced and celebrated
That I suffered the day you left

You gave me your word
You gave me your vow*
That I would have you for ever
Where is your word?
Where is your vow?
That I would have you for ever

---
Turn up the volume, because I don't want to hear love songs anymore
I don't want to die from sorrow
Turn up the volume, because I don't want to hear them talking about you
Na na na na na na

I also could have left you
I also could have gone
Do you know how much I have loved you?
Do you know how much I have trusted you?

You gave me your word
You gave me your vow
That I would have you for ever
Where is your word?
Where is your vow?
That I would have you for ever

---
Turn up the volume, because I don't want to hear love songs anymore
I don't want to die from sorrow
Turn up the volume, because I don't want to hear them talking about you
Na na na na na na

Author's comments:

* In Albanian "besa" means something like the pledge to keep one's promise. It is less like a promise and more like an oath. In this context I think "vow" or "promise" works better.
