Mi sento bene

Credere all'eternità è difficile,

sentirmi libera da me, come i bambini,
restare nudi, lasciarsi andare
e non aver paura di invecchiare,
accarezzare tutto e stare bene.

Forse è tutto qui il mio vivere,
quasi elementare, semplice.

Ridere non è difficile
se cogli il buono di ogni giorno
ed ami sempre fino in fondo.
Adesso voglio vivere così.

I Feel Good

Believing in eternity is difficult,
Just don't think about it and live your life.
Wondering what's the point is useless
If all this comes to an end someday.
And looking for a meaning in this nonsense
Is nothing but the most stupid madness.

If I don't think about it anymore, I feel good.
I watch a series on the TV and I feel good.
I read a newspaper, I lay by the sea
And I take my life as it comes.
If I don't think about it anymore, I feel good.

What will happen
To all the lovers' oaths,
To all my regrets,
To all the love and cruelty?

What will happen
To all the poor long-held dreams,
To all the big loves I've lost
After all this comes to an end?

If I don't think about it anymore, I feel good.
I wake up early on Mondays and I feel good.
The streets are full when it's Christmas,
Maybe it's nothing special,
But all this makes me feel good.

If I don't think about it anymore, I feel good.
If I talk on the phone with you, I feel good.
The kisses in a hurry, the fishnet stockings,
The dinner invitations just to make love after that,
Feeling beautiful makes me feel good.

What will happen
To all the afternoons by the river as a girl,
To my mother's eyes
After all this comes to an end?

If I don't think about it anymore, I feel good.
If I do what I wanna do, I feel good.
Let's dance a tango under the falling snow,
I don't think of anything and everything's mine.
And the less I think, the more I feel good.

And not thinking anymore about what to say,
Feeling free from myself just like children do,
Being naked, letting myself go
And not being afraid of getting older,
Caressing everything and being okay.

Maybe this is what my lifestyle is,
Almost basic, simple even.

Laughing is not difficult
If you take the good of each day
And always love devotedly.
Now I want to live like this.

Really good translation, just a few edits/suggestions:

-> "Chiedersi" would translate as "wonder." ("ask yourself" implies that you're talking to yourself).
-> Because the song refers to emotions, "I feel good," makes more sense than "I feel well," which refers more to being healthy.
-> In the second verse, simple present would fit better than the progressive, so (I watch/I feel/I read/I lay).
-> "sogno nel cassetto" is an idiom that means a personal/long-held dream.
-> "Libera da me" = "free from myself"
-> "Adesso voglio vivere così" = "Now I want to live like this"/"I want to live like this now"
