English translation

Have Mercy, Venus

Versions: #1#2
All night
It seems that all night
Your sweetness has accompanied me,
And it reminds me of my fate.

Venus,
Oh, divine Venus
I've come to ask you at last...

Have mercy on my suffering,
Have mercy, tell me why for so many years
I've lived beneath my burden
Divine Venus, tell me why

All night
It seems that all night, I fear
To see all those I've killed,
Oh I must, kill them all to live!

Venus,
Oh, divine Venus
I've come to ask you at last...

Have mercy on my suffering,
Have mercy, or why for so many years
I've lived beneath my care
Divine Venus, tell me why

Joyous soul,
That returns no more

Have mercy on my suffering,
Have mercy, or why for so many years
I've lived beneath my care
Divine Venus, tell me why I'm alive

Author's comments:

I couldn't find the scan of the booklet for the translation of this song, so I had to do this translation myself. I've been working on it for months, but never got around to submitting it. I've made a few changes, and I've learned quite a lot from Emma's other songs on this album.
