Papież Słowiański

Pośród niesnasek Pan Bóg uderza
W ogromny dzwon,
Dla słowiańskiego oto papieża
Otworzył tron.

Ten przed mieczami tak nie uciecze
Jako ten Włoch,
On śmiało, jak Bóg, pójdzie na miecze;
Świat mu to proch!

Twarz jego, słowem rozpromieniona,
Lampa dla sług,
Za nim rosnące pójdą plemiona
W światło, gdzie Bóg.

Na jego pacierz i rozkazanie
Nie tylko lud
Jeśli rozkaże, to słońce stanie,
Bo moc to cud!

On się już zbliża rozdawca nowy
Globowych sił:
Cofnie się w żyłach pod jego słowy
Krew naszych żył;

W sercach się zacznie światłości bożej
Strumienny ruch,
Co myśl pomyśli przezeń, to stworzy,
Bo moc to duch.

A trzeba mocy, byśmy ten pański
Dźwignęli świat:
Więc oto idzie papież słowiański,
Ludowy brat;

Oto już leje balsamy świata
Do naszych łon,
A chór aniołów kwiatem umiata
Dla niego tron.

On rozda miłość, jak dziś mocarze
Rozdają broń,
Sakramentalną moc on pokaże,
Świat wziąwszy w dłoń;

Gołąb mu słowa w hymnie wyleci,
Poniesie wieść,
Nowinę słodką, że duch już świeci
I ma swą cześć;

Niebo się nad nim piękne otworzy
Z obojga stron,
Bo on na świecie stanął i tworzy
I świat, i tron.

On przez narody uczyni bratnie,
Wydawszy głos,
Że duchy pójdą w cele ostatnie
Przez ofiar stos;

Moc mu pomoże sakramentalna
Narodów stu,
Moc ta przez duchy będzie widzialna
Przed trumną tu.

Takiego ducha wkrótce ujrzycie
Cień, potem twarz:
Wszelką z ran świata wyrzuci zgniłość,
Robactwo, gad,

Zdrowie przyniesie, rozpali miłość
I zbawi świat;
Wnętrze kościołów on powymiata,
Oczyści sień,
Boga pokaże w twórczości świata,
Jasno jak dzień.

Translation

The Slavic Pope

In the midst of all the disagreements, Lord God rings
A huge bell,
For the Slavic, here is the pope
He opened the throne.

For this Slavic Pope, he won't escape
Like this Italian,
He will fight boldly, like God, with swords;
The world is dust to him!

His face, is beaming in a word, A lamp to the servants,
The rising tribes will follow him
Into the light, where God is.

For his sake and order
Not only the people
If he commands, the sun will come to a stop,
Because power is a miracle!

He is already approaching a new dealer
Global forces:
Back in his veins and his words
The blood in our veins;

In the hearts it will begin in the lightness of God
Flowing motion,
What the thought thinks through it, will create,
Because power is spirit.

And you need power, to let this world of Lord
Lift up:
So here goes the Slavic Pope,
The people's brother;

See, he has already poured balms of the world
On our wombs,
With a flower, a choir of angels sweeps
The throne for him.

He will give out love, like how today's power
Gives out weapons,
He will show the sacramental power,
Taking the world in his hand;

A dove will flunk him out the words in an anthem,
He will carry the news,
Of sweetness, that the spirit has already shone
And it has its own glory;

The sky above it will open beautifully
On both sides,
For he stood and created in the world
Both the world and the throne.

He will make fraternal relationsships among nations,
Making a voice,
That the spirits will go into the last aims
Across the pile of the victims;

The sacramental power will help him
With the hundreds nations.
This power will be visible through spirits
In front of the coffin here.

You will soon see such a spirit
Shadow, then face:
He will throw away all the rottenness from the wounds of the world,
Vermins, reptiles,

He will bring the health, he will kindle the love
And redeem the world;
He will sweep the interior of churches,
He will clear the hallway,
God will show you the creativity of the world,
Brightly as the day.

Wow Krystine! you were magnificent and even more at your age, thank you!
Me, at that age couldn't manage so much even just one language, but I had no received
more education on them neither ha ha.

This lyrics have a curious story because the original poem-lyrics was wrote in the XIX century
by Juliusz Słowacki, and have a kind of prophecy, or at less a "coincidences in future time"
about a Polish Pope, that became reality when Karol Józef Wojtyła was elected Pope in 1978.
Also talks about things that could make reference to the fall of communism in Eastern Europe.

If you need transcriptions of Spanish, don't hesitate and tell me, I can be useful on it.

Saludos, ciao.

Thanks and actually when I was translating it I was thinking why Slowacki would ever write this, why he would be born and why there would even be the Slavic pope lmaooo.

By now the only problem is with the word "womb" that makes no much sense
"homes" can match better, but like I said before: I needed exactly a non-poetical translation like you did
because poetical translations there are several, for example the user Aldefina showed me this one:

http://www.academia.edu/11523914/POETRY_TRANSLATION_-_Juliusz_Słowacki_P...

And could be useful for adjust some few details of our more literal phrase by phrase translation.

This poem was difficult for me to translate, but I got a lot of help from my good friend Mateusz, and we also used a lot of Internet translator so thanks to Mateusz, Google translator and etc lol. I know very little about this religion so some sentences were very strange to me so there must be many mistakes in the translation.
Womb has a meaning of birthplace, sourse, and there's a phrase: from the womb to the tomb, meaning from birth to death, and a most common word of "home" used in Polish is dom, though I'm not sure if they used dom most commonly in ancient times. In this poem the word is łon,so perhaps in the poetic translation "home" was a metaphor, or "womb" originally can be a "home" for us.
