Parus (Парус)

Белеет парус одинокий
В тумане моря голубом...
Что ищет он в стране далёкой?
Что кинул он в краю родном?
 
Играют волны - ветер свищет,
И мачта гнётся и скрипит...
Увы, - он счастия не ищет
И не от счастия бежит!
 
Под ним струя светлей лазури,
Над ним луч солнца золотой
А он, мятежный, просит бури,
Как будто в бурях есть покой!

Das Segel

Ein Segel schimmert, weiß von ferne
Im Dunst vom tiefen blauen Meer...
Was folgt es nur dem fremden Sterne?
Was hielt die Heimat es nicht mehr?
 
Die Winde rauschen, Wellen spielen,
Der Mast, er knarrt, es schwankt das Heck...
Oh weh, das Glück will's nicht erzielen,
Und vor dem Glück läuft es nicht weg!
 
Lasurblau strömen klare Wellen,
Und golden strahlt der Sonnenschein.
Doch kühn will's sich den Stürmen stellen,
Als könnte Frieden darin sein!

Die Übersetzung eines solchen Gedichts sollte unbedingt Rhythmus und Reime enthalten, Deine Version scheint mir sehr nahe und gescheit. Tanzt das Segel am Horizont...
