thanked 10 times |
'låtsas längta länge nu' gave me a stroke (': what the fuck is that kinda fucking sentence.
1. | Tystnar i luren |
2. | Under någon ny |
3. | Ett sista glas |
I have some spelling mistakes to correct, and also a few translation suggestions, if I may:
Time stands still --> The time stands still (Without "the" it sounds a little strange.)
Pretending to long --> Pretending too long (or rather: "Been pretending for too long".)
All that we regret, all that we promise --> Everything we regret, everything we promise
Watch yourself from who you hurt --> Be careful of who you hurt (sorry, but your translateion makes no sense at all.)
Look out for all that you said --> Beware of everything you said (You look out for people, not words.)
You should thank me for what I gave --> You should be thankful for what everything I gave (it just sounds better this way, I reckon.)
That doesn't cash out --> Who has not cashed out (I suppose this refers to the millionaire)
Very close but far away --> Very close but yet so away (sounds more poetic ;) )
Kista Centre and Santiago --> Kista downtown and Santiago (you say "city centre", but you don't say "London centre", you say "London downtown")
I want to stay, but you're walking --> I want to stay, but you want to go (or is he just walking home?)
hello, yes thanks.
i fixed the first one; she doesn't say "pretending (for) too long", she says "pretending to long", it's a strange sentence in swedish as well, and i wrote it 'incorrectly' on purpose.
i think she doesn't mean that the dude literally walks away, but she used 'går' in the swedish text, which translates to 'walk'. it's just a metaphor, i think. and the meaning is the same anyhow.
and she doesn't say 'väldigt nära men långt ifrån' very poetically, so i left it.
thanks for your comment though!
