Rio Grande - Postal dos correios (English translation)

English translation

Dear mother, dear father. How are things?
We carry on the way God wants
Between the days that go on less well
Comes one that is gives us more troubles
But let's talk about happier things
Laurinda makes dresses by measure
The boy studies computers
They say is a job with good prospects
The parcel has arrived well
In the "bus" that stops at Piedade
Wheat bread and linguiça for the meal [see author's comment]
It's enough to cheat the nostalgic missing of you|Portugal [see author's comment]
I hope you don't take long to send
News back through the post
Is the creek still running well or is it going to dry?
How are the olive trees in "Candeio"?
I have ran out of subjects to write about
Regards to our people
A hug from this one who cares so much about you
I might go there in Christmastime
