About translator
صغيرون is a nickname for his beloved but it's technically plural, but refers to the woman he is singing to.
So لا يدرون is also in the plural but again, probably refers to the woman he loves.
خال refers to a maternal uncle. Sometimes in Arabic, the mother's side of the family is used more in connection to emotions. This song wouldn't sound right if it was called راحت يا عمي or "She left, [paternal] uncle."
