(Sayonara no kaze) (English translation)

Wind of goodbye

Being alone is hard
But in the end I want to be like a bouquet of flowers
I can't cry like the summer rain
I saw you and the sky intermittently
Goddess of love, answer me
Why is it a fleeting love?

Traveling wind, tell that person
That with the same eyes
I want to meet him again

The season flows and the green time passes
Surely I'll meet somebody
On the sleepless nights I remember
Even my straggling hair follows you
Don't break up, don't sway yet
This way I get fired up

Flowing clouds, tell that person
That I won't forget he held me
To protect me

Traveling wind, tell that person
That with the same eyes
I want to meet him again
Again

Thanks!

I stumbled across this translation when I opened the site. I think there are some errors or lacking wordings. Even the title feels misleading (it sounds like "goodbye to the wind" and not "wind of goodbye").

"Wind of Goodbye" perhaps? (さよならの風 - Sayonara no kaze - the の no is a possessive, sort of like 's in English)

Yes, the Wind of Goodbye(s) or something. A wind characterized by the saying of goodbye. The way they translated it made me think さよなら風よ lol

I changed it to "wind of goodbye". Thanks for the corrections.

No problem. (I haven't looked at the rest of the song yet, but I might if things aren't too busy here...)
