آمد بت میخانه تا خانه برد ما را
بنمود بهار نو تا تازه کند ما را
بگشاد نشان خود بربست میان خود
پر کرد کمان خود تا راه زند ما را
 
صد نکته دراندازد صد دام و دغل سازد
صد نرد عجب بازد تا خوش بخورد ما را

آن جان و جهان آمد وان گنج نهان آمد
وان فخر شهان آمد تا پرده درد ما را

وز آمدنش شاید گر دل بجهد ما را

Translation

Hidden Treasure!

The beloved came to the tavern of the soul, guiding us to the abode of ecstasy,
He brought a new spring to revive our weary spirits.
He revealed his sign, drawing us into his existence,
And filled his bow with arrows to pierce our hearts.
 
He casts a hundred pearls of wisdom, weaving a hundred snares and guiles,
Crafting a hundred wondrous games to captivate us in the bliss of divine love.

When the beloved plays coy, hiding deep within our hearts,
He becomes the sovereign of sultans, granting us the nectar of blessings.

That beauty and charm returned to brand us with the mark of longing.
That soul and cosmos came, that hidden treasure arrived,
That pride of kings came to lift the veil from our sorrows.
