Father God

Put my white dress on me,
The one I wore when we were married.
No matter how much the doctor walks,
Our ranch is very far away.

Don't waste any more on remedies,
My strength is already leaving me.
Put my white dress on me!
Father God... is calling me,
Father God... is calling me.

Father God...
Father God...

~ ~ ~

Everything remains in silence,
Only Juan is telling her:
See how pretty the cornstalks
Growing on the hillside,
But now I don't want anything,
I'll give away the plantation.

Father God wanted it this way
And with Father nobody plays,
And with Father nobody plays.

Father God...
Father God...
Father God... is calling me...

I see itsn't your translation, anyway, I want to point out a couple things that I think are errors:
1. In the first stanza, the two last verses, I think they should be something like, "no matter how much the doctor walks, he is very far from our ranch".
2. In the first stanza, second part, "siembra" is not 'seed' but rather the result of the 'siembra' = 'the harvest'.

Tus observaciones son correctas.

Fíjate que el enemigo nunca duerme.
Nos controla más que en Newark Airport.

He copiado la letra inglesa sin analizarla.
Gracias Rosa, voy a corregir en seguida.

To be more precise, "sembrar" is to 'sow" (we know that). Whatever you 'sow', is 'la siembra" and the possible result you will get from it. No 'seed'. "Seed" is 'semilla'. (I think we know that too).

The word SIEMBRA has several meanings.
Here is: Tierra sembrada.
I will translate it with PLANTATION.

The plantation, seems to me, is the land. Here, again, they are talking about the product of what they planted.
I come from a plantation land!

Yes, it seems to me that the ranchero, when dying, is giving away his plantation.
It is almost funny to think he would give away only his latest harvest, or only the seeds.
