I'm an American from the South. As per the requirements I took two years in Spanish in High School and then two more because Spanish was practical. By the time I had finished those four years I had realized how much I loved languages and decided to make them a part of my life. I hope to be able to work in international relations. I have completed my curriculum for my degree in Spanish and I also have a basic grasp of French & Portuguese. I recently worked in Laos and I'm trying to maintain my grasp on Lao. I hope to one day learn Mandarin, Turkish and Russian and possibly study Vietnamese again.
