1. In the chorus you translated 'ook vandaag nog wat je breekt' as 'To this day I know what you tend to break'. On first glance this seems like the correct translation, but I think that what Froukje meant was: 'I know what tends to break you'. The Dutch sentence is ambiguous on this point because it can be translated both ways. It is an inherent unclarity due to Dutch grammar. I am curious, however, if you agree with me on this point, because to me it makes more sense to express the vulnerability of the person in question rather than to express that they destroy something else.
2. The sentence: 'If I could get used to you, I could love you' is grammatically incorrect. Unlike in Dutch, in English you can only use 'could' or 'would' once in combination with the past simple. The correct translation is: 'If I got used to you, I could love you'.
