The Chieftains title “Ev Chistr ‘ta, laou!”, in Celtic Wedding: Music of Brittany, 1987 https://youtu.be/SSqAH7kB-Fs

This song comes from Brittany, a popular song composed by Jean-Bernard and Jean-Marie Prima two very young farmers from Guiscriff (Morbihan), one evening at the summer harvest 1929, with a cup of cider in hand. The song was published by Polig Monjarret in 1951 with the title “Ev jistr’ta laou” until in the 70s Alan Stivell recorded as “Son ar chistr” and gave it to international popularity.
