Run, Fly

Don't hide your thoughts-wires1
As they race fearlessly in different directions
The feeling of oxygen around
He inhaled, made a quick step to the left

We look for answers, we go around the world
As if in a fog
To live between the lines, as if in a program
Again -- not me

(refrain)
Run, fly -- through the sky, across the sea
Run, fly
Run, fly -- where we're together, where we are two
Run, fly

I'll sell it all on your ticket
And maybe somewhere there's a place
But here is sleep and there's no way2
And we know that it's an honest answer

We build, we break, we don't advance
Through the right doors
To live in a telegram, a cardiogram
Again -- not me

(refrain)

  • 1. see comments, I wonder if this is like "train of thought"
  • 2. see comments - Sophia explained "хода нет" can mean "no way" as in "no passage", or "stalemate" as in chess ('impossible to make a move by the rules')

Привет, Луми
1 провода = wires, leads
2 ход = a step, a move
3 успеть =
3a "to come/get in right time" or
3b "to keep pace with"

and it's so, 'cause the song is a nonsense.
