Michelle Andrade - Khvatit svistet (Хватит свистеть) (traducción al Inglés)

traducción al Inglés

No more B.S.

I get it, you're the best
And one can see that you won't be bored alone
Notice that you only talk about yourself
Stop it, boy, no more B.S.
No more B.S.

I get it, you know your own worth and won't go below it
[You have] tattoos and sleeves filled [with muscles],
Fans by the bunch and pictures in T-shirts,
Insta[-gram] that everyone "likes", but just try and guess
What am I going to tell you, what am I going to tell you?
Do you want me to show you with my fingers or to explain
Don't look away, answer me
as a matter of fact - boy, no more B.S.
No more B.S.

The world has gone crazy long ago,
Everyone around goes "blah blah, blah blah"
As if I owe everyone for some reason,
Love does not matter anymore, it is not needed
We went crazy long ago,
Love is only in the movies
We could go see it together,
Just no more B.S.
No more B.S.

I get it, and it's difficult
It's impossible to accept you the way you are.
Sorry, boy
Perhaps someday you can warm someone up
Just no more B.S.

Thanks to Kashtanka1965 for the "свистеть" = "B.S." slang explanation other than the literal meaning which is "whistling" Wink smile
Thanks to Brat for clarification on "себе цены ты не сложишь"

We used the word "свистеть" when I was a kid in the Soviet Union as a slang for talking bullshit. For example: If someone lying, or you think that someone is lying to you, you would say to that person: " Что ты свистишь" или что-то покрепче как " хватит пи---ть. I don't think that an English speaker would understand that it doesn't really mean whistling.
Kind Regards,
Anatoli

Thanks Anatoli! This is why this is a great place to learn new idioms, I figured since they were whistling in the video that would be it and I didn't think of looking up "сленг хулигана" Wink smile
Еще раз спасибо и всего хорошего для вас!

себе цены ты не сложишь->this idiom rather means "you know your own worth and thus drive a hard bargain".

Спасибо Брат!
Может быть "you know your own worth and won't go below it"?

Yep, that's plausible.
