This is how I hear these lines:

Not ‘her lips will touch his palm’, but ‘snow and you are on my palm’ and ‘only snow and you touch my lips’
Does it make sense?

Nope, the difference present in the accusative case of plurals is shown below.
Винительный падеж множественного числа:
1. Губы (мн.ч., неодуш.) -> виню (что?) -> губы
2. Рыбы (мн.ч, одуш.) -> виню (кого?) -> рыб
And if you say "касается губы" - it will mean that only one of the lips is touched by the snow. :)
These cases are often messed up by sheer natives, so they are really dreadful...
And in these lyrics губы is in the true genitive case -> касается (чего?) - губ. (that would be the same in case of animate beings: касается (кого?) - рыб

Generally, yeah
я вижу руку/палец / я касаюсь руки/пальца (I see/touch a hand/finger)
я вижу руки/пальцы / я касаюсь рук/пальцев (I see/touch hands/fingers)
But finger doesn’t really work here, we don’t touch it, and be careful with other body parts too :)

It's one of that rare words that can be either masculine or feminine without a slight change in meaning... Табурет has no genital characters allowing to distingiush it from табуретка. If the carpenter was not blind drunk, though. :D

Well, the pun is that "стол" can also mean "food, meals", and "стул" can mean "faeces", especially regarding their physical characteristics (density, viscosity, colour and so on). I hope you're not at a table now. :)
