Не уверена я почему-то в таком порядке слов. Возможно, оттого, что английский для меня - не родной. Но одно могу объяснить: я не припомню ни одной фразы, где бы слово "again" стояло в начале. Поэтому я и не поставила его впереди ни в одной строчке.
Ну и ритмически ваш перевод этого фрагмента не подходит.
I'm not sure in that order of words. Perhaps it is because English is not my native language. But one thing I can explain: I can't remember a single phrase where the word "again" stood at the beginning. That's why I escaped putting it in front of other words in any line.
In addition, your translation of this fragment is not suitable rhythmically .
This was just to make sure I got the Russian right. I agree this would need to be properly rephrased.
Still I find this particular line changes the meaning quite a bit.
As far as I understood the song, having a conversation with his lover at night is what he longs for and can't achieve, so he "talks with the night" instead.
Or did I get it wrong?
Вы поняли неправильно. Эта песня о том, как человек едет домой, туда, где его ждет любимая девушка. Ждет, хотя он задержался по какой-то причине. Потому что она любит его так же сильно, как он ее. Приедет он только к ночи, не раньше, и дело происходит во время грозы.
You misunderstood. This song is about a man going home to where his girlfriend is waiting for him. She's waiting, though he was delayed for some reason. She loves him as much as he loves her. He won't arrive until nightfall. It rains and it's waiting for a thunderstorm.
Oh sorry, I love russian but he doesn't love me :)
I'm so grateful to native speakers for taking the time to help me understand it.
So I thank you for your kind explanations.

Снова расскажет ночь мне о любви твоей -> wouldn't that be "again the night will tell me about your love" ?
