The grave clowns
I saw them down the underground bunkers
those nights of May
eyes staring at the door
worried, fearing persecution.
I saw them running in the night
in a forbidden game of hide and seek
boulevard runaways
raising hell among the citizens.
I saw them in a riot
leaving with a sense of incompletion
the crowd was vomiting of insomnia
the eye of a flashlight was pointing at them.
In rooms with no light
conversations - never finished,
in secret libraries and parks
along with Poe, de Sade and Mark Twain
their flesh carrying an unknown disease .
Stripped of love and hatred
persecuted as if they were extremists
found Christ out of starvation
or in prison cells dying of fear of dying
in agony for what comes next.
I saw them walking out of University halls
and dark public asylums
spelling the alphabet of the scream

¡Defiende a Ucrania!
Cómo apoyar a Ucrania 🇺🇦 ❤️
