Aýterek-Günterek

Gözüm düşdi gözleriňe
Erik bolduň elimde
Şirin-şeker sözleriňe
Baglandym men ýürekden
(x2)

Ýar, sen gerek, maňa sen gerek
Ýüregimi awlan ýarym gerek
Aýterek-günterek maňa sen gerek
Ýürejigimi awlan ýarym gerek

Sensiz kalbym oňup bilmez
Senden özge bolup bilmez
Göwün berip söýenim
(Wah) özgäni ýürek söýmez
(x2)

Ýar, sen gerek, maňa sen gerek
Ýüregimi awlan ýarym gerek
Aýterek-günterek maňa sen gerek
Ýürejigimi awlan ýarym gerek

Aýterek-günterek (x2)

Aýterek-günterek
Bizden size kim gerek
Saýrap duran dil gerek
Dilleriň haýsy gerek
Ýürejigimi awlan
Gara göz ýarym gerek

Ýar, sen gerek, maňa sen gerek
Ýüregimi awlan ýarym gerek
Aýterek-günterek maňa sen gerek
Ýürejigimi awlan ýarym gerek

On YouTube, someone said this:

" "Ayterek-Günterek" is the name of a Turkmen traditional folk dance. The dance game play among group of girls and boys.
Both "Ayterek and Günterek" are name of trees in Turkmen. But if we translate the name of the song to English like two trees, it does not make sense. Therefore as I said before "Ayterek-Günterek" is the name of a Turkmen traditional folk dance."

That makes more sense to me now Regular smile
