This is Wink's debut song released in April 27, 1988. This is where it all began.

Aida Shoko and Suzuki Sachiko met each other for the first time one year earlier. A series of coincidents lead them together to become Wink, at least according to this interview. They met each other in 1987 in a beauty contest held by a magazine; where Sachiko won the 7th place and Shoko the 9th place. Both of them were timid persons but somehow they could get along well, they even hung up together a few times after the contest ended. Then one year later in 1988, they coincidentally went to audition as a solo singer at the same day at the same record company. The audition staff suggested that their voices would be better to complement each other as a duo rather than as solo singers, so Wink was formed. If they didn't go to audition at the same day at the same place, if they didn't have the bond from their earlier friendship, then Wink might not exist and they might only end up as solo singers with short-lived career. Even their birthdays almost look like coincident (Sachiko: February 22, 1969, Shoko: February 23, 1970).  (*It might also be a coincidence if we somehow finish this translation series around their birthdays (^▽^;)  )
