I'm American by birth, but my parents were originally from Finland - the Swedish-speaking population part of Finland, to be precise.
I grew up speaking Swedish at home, but learned English at such a young age that I don't remember ever not speaking it.
When I was 10 years old, our family moved to Finland. I learned Finnish there, attending a Finnish-language school.
I returned to the United States at age 18, and have lived in the U.S. ever since.

I really don't use Swedish or Finnish much, but I still think I can make some superb Finnish-English translations.
