История

Плиты и статуи все сохраняют,

Могильный покой тая.

Каждый всегда сам себя убеждает

В том, что все было не зря.

Все это просто моменты, не боле,

Письма из выцветших строк.

Однажды мы тоже станем историей,

Следами белых дорог.

Времени стрелы летят и пронзают

Старых и новых людей.

Будет черед, их святыми признают

В храме забытых идей.

Будет черед для борьбы и покоя,

Время твердит: не спеши.

Мы персонажи случайных историй,

Где правда доходит до лжи.

Мы прорываемся к памятным грезам

И исчезаем в веках.

Мы предаемся веселью и слезам,

Жизнь оставляя в стихах.

А люди увидят, а люди запомнят

Лишь то, что увидеть хотят.

Примут на миг и навеки изгонят,

Если не сбросят в ад.

В этом урок, дорогой мой приятель,

Не стоит нам гнать коней.

Историй творец и историй читатель -

Все есть одно в тебе.

A story

The calmness of the grave is hidden,

The statues keep all memories.

Things are forgotten and forbidden,

In a convincing melody.

These are no more than fragile moments,

Your letters made of withered lines.

One day we'll turn into a story,

White roads and traces so divine.

The time still flies like piercing arrows,

And people come, both young and old.

There'll be a moment for a spirit

In temples where ideas grow,

There'll be a time for fight and quiet,

The time still tells you not to rush.

We are like characters of stories

Where truth is mixed with lies and hush.

In our dreams enormous aeons

Are made of memories and dreams,

We're free to laugh like human beings,

Life's made of poems, tears that stream.

And people see, they will remember

Merely those things they wish to see.

They will invite and then discard you,

Unless you're part of hell's degree.

My friend, we have a mighty lesson -

Don't rush, don't push against time's pace.

You are a reader and creator -

You're unity of all world's days.

I started studying English at the age of 4. I've passed several English competitions and exams in Ukraine.
In journalism I focus on the accuracy and depth of covering art, tech and science topics. I think and even see dreams in this language which is an inseparable part of me.
The overal number of my original poems and translations is more than 2000.
Since 2016, I started delving deeper into the hidden pages of Ukrainian culture, literature and history, looking for ideas which didn't seem to have been part of the official high school/higher education/postgrad education curriculum in Ukraine.

My Italian is quite rusty but I keep training and educating myself each day. I used to attend a brief course in this language between 2012 and 2014. Looking for tutors and pals in this language here.
French is easy for me to read and somewhat more complicated to write in. Usually I read simple articles in this language fast enough. I am fond of French fiction literature.
