(Moy dar ubog, i golos moy ne gromok...)

My gift is precious little and quiet is my voice

Versions: #1#2
My gift is precious little and quiet is my voice,
but I am alive, and on this earth
should there be someone who finds my existence worth,
then may my distant progeny rejoice
from all or any of my verses.
Who knows, my soul with his might find the rapport,
And as in this a generation I found a friend, for
the posterity, I will of reader find sources.

This is a poetic translation - deviations from the meaning of the original are present (extra words, extra or omitted information, substituted concepts).

Feel like "его найдет" is about his gift or voice and not about his existence.

Could be. I guess I see the existence and the gift tightly woven here.
