Sea Urchins and Chestnuts

Shiratama with a piece missing resembles a red cell [1]
The full moon at night is so round, won't you let me see it?
A spell that naturally changes the closer you get
I'm fighting to preserve the distance between us

So much that it's fun, if evil forces overwhelm me
I'll eat it for you

Sometimes we hurt others without realizing
If you forgot something I'll go bring it to you
When I went out to meet the dead of night, modestly and healthy
I felt a sensation like endless time

Sea urchins and chestnuts, persimmons and pears, rice with bamboo shoots [1]
You don't need to mix them around you to the point of fascination
Sea urchins and chestnuts, shelter from the rain, fragrant nuts [1]
It's fine to speak awkwardly
Uniguri... Onigiri... Uniguri... [1]

No matter how many points I lose [2], even if no one pays attention
Particularly for accomplishing myself, it's fine if I don't learn my lesson
I put down a hint and it disappeared, it was being kept alive under a faint warmth
Even if my wishes don't come true I'll keep wishing

So much that it's right, if evil forces overwhelm me
I'll carry it all in my arms

Sometimes we hurt others without realizing
If you forgot something I'll go bring it to you
When I went out to meet the dead of night, modestly and healthy
I felt a sensation like endless time

Sea urchins and chestnuts, persimmons and pears, rice with bamboo shoot
You don't need to mix them around you to the point of fascination
Sea urchins and chestnuts, shelter from the rain, fragrant nuts
I like the comfortable chilly wind

Just me and a pet [3], I wonder what we can change
There are separate moments when we realize
Strolling at midnight to wherever I can go
Time forgets us whoever we are

Sea urchins and chestnuts, persimmons and pears, rice with bamboo shoots
It's fine to forget the necessity to conform
Sea urchins and chestnuts, shelter from the rain, fragrant nuts
I like it when you talk awkwardly
Uniguri... Onigiri... Uniguri...

[1] Foods in this song:
• 白玉 (shiratama): Small rice cakes, chewy in texture. It's similar to mochi, but the shiratama flour is made differently and gives a different texture. Shiratama dango may be shaped with a dip in the middle, like the shape of a red blood cell.
• 雲丹 (uni): Sea urchin roe. Sea urchins are round spiky animals that live in the ocean; the soft orange roe inside is edible. Note that the sea urchin itself is also called "uni", but the kanji spelling 雲丹 only refers to the food.
• 栗 (kuri): Japanese chestnut (Castanea crenata). It's a round nut with a spiky tip.
• 柿 (kaki): A variety of persimmon (Diospyros kaki).
• 梨 (nashi): A variety of pear from East Asia (Pyrus pyrifolia). 梨 may also be a pear, in general.
• たけのこご飯 (takenoko gohan): Steamed rice with bamboo shoots. Takenoko is used in many Japanese dishes and is in season during spring.
• 木の実 (ki no mi): Fruits, berries and nuts that grow on trees.

"Uniguri" isn't a food; it's the name of that hedgehog that appears in Zutomayo's music videos.

A cross mark indicating a wrong answer ❌.
[3] 匹 (hiki) is a counter word for small animals and bugs. 1匹 (ippiki) is one of that, but doesn't specify what exactly (could be anything, really).
