Тепло - нi вiтру, нi хмар:

My granny's song. She is 84 now. She is singing it by heart without fogetting a single word. And her version is closer to my heart than this one. Although I have never seen it sung or even written.

Moonlit night.(ukrain folk song)

Versions : #1#2
Moonlit night.

Moonlight and dawn've met tonight, you can see even
Needles as clear as your feet.
...Know, you've been working hard, darling, and you're tired but
Come for a while to me here.

Under the snowball tree, here in the garden we'll
Sit down and now I'm a King.
Look, oh my Queen, over there on the silent field
Fog's spread its silver-white wings.

Oh, my sweet heart, please don't worry that you can wet
Your white bare feet with cold dew.
I'll carry you home in my arms as far as the door -
You know how I love you.

Oh, my sweet heart, please don't worry that you can be cold-
There's no cloud in the sky.
I'll cuddle you close to my heart and you know that
And it is as hot as the fire.

Moonlight and dawn've met tonight, you can see even
Needles as clear as your feet.
Know, you've been working hard, darling, and you're tired but
Come for a while to me here.
