Beautiful Prince
I
My beautiful prince, can I offer you wings
I’ll show what land looks like from above,
My beautiful prince, can I offer you drinks Which’ll make you forget everything but love
II
Listen to my heart it’s beating for you,
Look into my eyes there’s nothing but you, Taste into my mouth so sweet and so new,
Feel under my skin there’s nothing but you.
Chorus
If I could paint faces,
it would be your face,
My beautiful, my beautiful,
If I ‘d create fragrance ,
it would be your smell,
My beautiful, my beautiful.
If I could choose diamonds,
it would be your eyes,
My beautiful, my beautiful,
If I could choose death,
it would be with you,
My beautiful, my beautiful prince.
III
Look into the rain, the rainbow is you,
Look into the snow, every snowflake is you, Look into the moon, the moonlight is you,
Hear into the whispering wind, I love you.

Bellissimo Principe
I
Mio bel Principe, posso offrirti le ali?
Ti mostrerò come appare la terra dall’alto,
mio bellissimo Principe, posso offrirti da bere
che ti farà dimenticare tutto tranne l’amore?
II
Ascolta, il mio cuore batte per te,
guardami negli occhi, vedono solo te
assaggia la mia bocca, tanto dolce e nuova,
tocca, sotto la mia pelle, ci sei solo tu
Coro
Se sapessi fare ritratti
dipingerei il tuo volto
mio bellissimo, mio bellissimo,
se creassi un profumo
avrebbe il tuo odore
mio bellissimo, mio bellissimo.
Se scegliessi dei diamanti
sarebbero i tuoi occhi,
mio bellissimo, mio bellissimo,
se dovessi scegliere la morte,
sarebbe con te
mio bellissimo, mio bellissimo,
III

The poem reminds me of the encounter between a Belle Dame Sans Mercì and a knight: it could be the dirge of the fairy as she enchants her lover, but we must not listen to her siren song, because it leads to death.
In the folk tales there are frequent stories of fairy kidnappings in which a beautiful fairy (usually the Queen of Faerie) convinces a particularly beautiful human to follow her in her Kingdom called by the Celts Elsewhere, the Land of eternal happiness, where people live after life on earth.
