« blank slate » dans des paroles

“Hey, get lost!” is but a game.

I wish, that I had no more notions there –
My head were a “blank slate,” quite bare.
I’d think of nothing bad, to scare –
That would make me so happy once again.

I could have been a fireman
I could have been a fire
I could have been a summer
I could have been you
I could have been an eagle
I could have been a mountain

Ingenting - Blank Slate

The lone star

Oh, but for a moment just contemplate
When looking up, you only saw a blank slate
And for a moment just contemplate
It appears that heaven's been abandoned
