Please, may anyone unify these songs?

Which is the correct entry?

And if one is a cover of the other, it's fine for both entries to be added and separately from one another - though a note indicating the song's original performer might be needed.

The correct entry is the 2nd one, where the song is classified under Sicilian dialect. Thanks!

It is a traditional old song, so all the version you may find, at least, are cover.
I don't know if there is an 'original' performer ...I try to make some research. Best regards

From English Wikipedia: "Hit versions have included "Oh! Ma-Ma! (The Butcher Boy)" by Rudy Vallée and "Lazy Mary (Luna Mezzo Mare)" by Lou Monte." So you may use Lou Monte as original performer. Have a nice day!

Well, if the song in question is a traditional one, then the two entries can remain. I wouldn't delete any of them in cases like these. I would, though, listen to each specific version of the song as to check if there are any differences between them both - from what I've seen it's very different for two versions of a same song be 100% equal - there might be smaller differences such as chorus repetitions, omitted stanzas or verses, etc.

In the last case, then they would be merged and moved into Traditional Italian (or Sicilian) Songs, Sicilian Folk or some page similar to those ones.
