Alike myself

Same ground, from the same tree, both have the same sparkle in their eyes

I have always flinched deep, clear water and the muddy bottom visible to the surface, it is like wathing yourself in the eyes. I have always wanted to walk on the middle of the road, but something tempted to walk by the side of the ditch, own route and whistling to the clouds.

I knew very well what I am, sometimes I was careful of stepping into the sun. You were so alike myself, when I was watching my own image I stepped back because I got scared. And I thought you knew what burden you would have to carry. Same ground, from the same tree, both have the same sparkle in their eyes.

I have given you the freedom to go and come. Because eternal love is not guaranteed by prison. And I would also myself starve until dry.
I knew very well what I am, sometimes I was careful of stepping into the sun. You were so alike myself, when I was watching my own image I stepped back because I got scared. And I thought you knew what burden you would have to carry. Same ground, from the same tree, both have the same sparkle in their eyes.
Same ground, from the same tree, both have the same sparkle in their eyes.

And I thought you knew

You were so alike myself, when I was watching my own image I stepped back because I got scared. And I thought you knew what burden you would have to carry. Same ground, from the same tree, both have the same sparkle in their eyes.

From the same tree -> "Veistetty samasta puusta", carved from the same tree, is a way of telling in finnish that you are with somebody alike.
