In Ramnikul in Transsylvanien sah ich ein Plakat,

Drauf stand, dass der Graf Drakula zum Fest geladen hat.

Eingeladen war ein jeder auch Doktor Frankenstein,

Einzige Bedingung war es muss ein Monster sein!

Ich stahl ein altes Laken und schnitt zwei Löcher ein,

Ich dachte auf der Party ist's wohl besser Geist zu sein

Ich packte etwas Knoblauch ein und sattelte mein Pferd,

Denn so ein Fest bei Drakula ist sicher nicht verkehrt

Das wird die Monster... Monsterparty!

Ich kam zum Schloss des Grafen bei Sonnenuntergang,

Ich lachte mir ins Fäustchen, die Nacht wird sicher lang

Des unsichtbaren Mütze schwebte vor mir in der Luft,

Und endlich kam Graf Drakula besoffen aus der Gruft.

Er hob zum Trost sein Glas der Inhalt war blutrot,

Er lallte noch "Hallo Freunde" und fiel um wie tot.

Alle Monster jubelten die Stimmung war famos,

Die Turmuhr schlug ein letztes mal dann ging die Party los.

Das wird die Monster... Monsterparty!

Plötzlich drang ein jämmerliches Schluchtzen an mein Ohr,

Es kam von King Kong vor dem Schloss der passte nicht durchs Tor!

Das sah Boris Karloff und verhielt sich ziemlich schlau,

Sprach wenn King Kong nicht durchs Tor passt schnapp ich mir die weiße Frau

Ich ging auf die Toilette weil ich Blut nicht so vertrag,

Im Becken schwamm der weiße Hai und sagte guten Tag.

Auf der Suche nach nem Busch dachte ich bei mir,

Ich glaub ich nehm die Mumie mit von wegen Klopapier.

Das wird die Monster... Monsterparty!

Da war so'n widerliches Tier ich glaub vom andern Stern,

Es sprach zu mir ich heiß E.T. und Partys hab ich gern

Ganz besonders schien sich das Skelett zu amüsieren,

Es ließ den Werwolf tausendmal sein Schienbein apportieren.

Doch als ich BUUH rief bekamen alle Monster einen Schreck,

und wer nicht in Ohnmacht fiel der lief einfach weg

Ich warf das blöde Laken fort und fühlte mich saustark,

und kotzte noch bevor ich ging in des Grafen Sarg...

Das war die Monster... Monsterparty!

on it written was Count Dracula has invited to a celebration.

Invited was everyone, Doctor Frankenstein as well,

Only condition was it has to be a monster!

I stole an old bed-sheet and cut two holes in it,

I thought at the party it's better to be a ghost

I packed some garlic and saddled my horse,

'cause such a celebration at Dracula's shouldn't go amiss

This will be a monster ... monster party!

I came to the count's castle at sundown,

I laughed up in my sleeve, the night surely will be long

The Invisible's cap was floating in front of me in the air,

And finally Count Dracula came trashed out of the crypt.

He raised his glass for toasting, the content was blood-red,

He slurred another "Hello Friends" and kneeled over as if dead.

All monsters were cheering, the mood was splendid,

The church clock struck for the last time, then the party got starting.

This will be a monster ... monster party!

Suddenly a miserable sobbing reached my ears,

It came from King Kong in front of the castle, he didn't get through the gate!

This saw Boris Karloff and acted quite clever,

Said if King Kong didn't fit through the gate I'll grab the White Woman

I went to the toilet 'cause I can't handle blood that well,

In the pool the White Shark was swimming and said "Good Day".

Especially the Skeleton seemed to enjoy itself,

It let the Werewolf retrieve its shin a thousand times.

But when I called BOOH all monsters got frightened,

and who didn't pass out simply ran away

I tossed away the stupid sheet and felt very strong,

and puked before I went into the Count's coffin ...

That was a monster ... monster party!
